The 15-year old Dutch junior rider Fleur Kempenaars has taken over the ride on Robin Heiden's 2021 Dutch junior team horse Jivando S.

Jivando S is an 8-year old Dutch warmblood by Desperado out of Zaginia P (by Nourejev x Houston). He is bred by D. Van der Scheur and was owned by Robin Heiden and Ad Valk.

Young Stallion

As a young stallion, Jivando participated in the third phase of the 2017 KWPN Stallion Licensing in Den Bosch but was not approved.

He was first competed as a three-year old by Chiara Prijs in 2017.

Robin Heiden

Jivando resurfaced on the competition scene in 2021 under Dutch pony team rider Robin Heiden, who had made the transition to junior level. She made her CDI debut in Sint-Truiden, Belgium and also rode at the CDI Exloo.  At the Dutch Junior Championships she was seventh in the first round but pulled out of the other rounds.

Heiden and the 7-year old Jivando were nominated on the Dutch team and competed at the 2021 European Junior Riders Championships in Oliva Nova, where they won team silver. In the individual test they were 19th and they finished 18th in the Kur to Music. Oliva Nova was the pair's last CDI together. Jivando did not compete internationally in 2022.

Fleur Kempenaars

The stallion has now found a new rider in the Dutch junior Fleur Kempenaars.

The 15-year old Fleur made her international show debut three years ago in 2019 in the children division on Armano (by Morgenland's Fabian x Orchard D'avranches) and represented The Netherlands at the 2021 European Children Championships in Oliva Nova, where they won team silver and finished 17th in the team test.

Fleur trains with Gerard Hogervorst as well as with Johan Rockx. This spring Fleur trained and competed Thalia Rockx' Dutch Young Riders team horse Golden Dancer de la Fazenda for a few months and campaigned him at one CDI, in Exloo. According to De Hoefslag, the Bretton Woods gelding returned to Thalia after three months, while Kempenaars continued with a new junior horse, 9-year old KWPN gelding Ivanto (by Dream Boy x Glendale).

Fleur aims to ride Jivando S in the Dutch team selections for the 2023 European Junior Riders Championships, which will take place in Kronberg (GER).
