German dressage rider and trainer Linda Weiss is leaving Gut Römerhof in Dusseldorf to join the team of Judith Koeppel at 360 Grad Sport Horses in Duisburg.

Weiss was a youth rider in the mid and late 2010s. Sambatanzer as well as Belle au Bois Dormant took her from young riders level to U25/Grand Prix at the end. In 2018 she received the golden rider badge.

Since 2019 Weiss has been working at Tara Schneider's Römerhof and mainly focused on young horse riding as well as coaching youth riders. Her biggest success in the saddle was achieved at the 2023 Bundeschampionate, where she won silver aboard  Andreas Weissmann's Filippa AW (by Falihandro).

Weiss has now decided to turn a page. She begins her new job in Duisburg in June.

"The last 5 years at Gut Römerhof have been really good and successful," Weiss told Eurodressage. "Now I want to re-concentrate on my riding career and on developing dressage horses. I’m happy about that Judith trusts me in my work with her horses."

As Koeppel's string of horses has expanded she needed support. Weiss will take over the baton from Timo Kolbe, who rented a wing at that barn and also helped with her horses. He has now moved to Dorsten after mutual agreement with Koeppel. Judith hired Gestut Bonhomme's Cindy Schulze as a stable manager.

"I added a few horses it was time for own riders for 360° and I’m so happy I was able to win Linda and we are excited to see what the future holds for us," said Koppel. "Cindy will support Linda with the horses and help me develop the 360° concept further . It will be a bit of a challenge to find each other in the middle of the season but I’m confident things will turn out well with this excellent team."
