A new chapter awaits Mia Allegra's 2022 European Pony Champion, Tovdal's Golden Future Imperial. The end of the combination's partnership was celebrated in a special retirement ceremony at the local show in Kerken on 21 October 2023.

Tovdal's Golden Future Imperial is a 14-year old Danish Welsh pony mare by CJ Chargon Bredager out of Tovdal's Ice Dream Queen (by Rytterbjergets Imperial). He is bred by Henning Moller Hansen.

Cecilie Lyngvild

The palomino began her sport career in Denmark at the age of 8 in 2017.

Under Cecilie Lyngvild she made her show debut at a regional show in Slagelse in September 2017. For two years the pair competed nationally, often in category 2 pony classes for smaller sized ponies as in Denmark, Imperial was measured at 140 cm height.

In 2018 they were 9th in the Kur at the Danish Pony Championships. Their best year was in 2019 when they won team gold and were fifth in the Kur at the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships (in category 2 ridden at national level). They finished their time together by earning silver at the  2019 Danish Pony Championships in category 2.

Mia Allegra Lohe

The pony sold to the Lohe family in Germany for their daughter Mia Allegra, who trains at Gut Römerhof in Dussendorf.

The combination rose to prominence in 2020 when they won the German Developing Pony Rider Championship after which the step to FEI pony level was made.

In 2021 they made their international show debut at the CDI Zakrzow in April, where they finished in the top five in the three pony tests. From there they went to Compiegne and finished12th at the Preis der Besten. They rode the German team selection trial in Hagen and finished the year at the CDI Aachen Indoor with two third places.

In 2022 they started the show season in Lierp, followed by Troisdorf. They were 10th at the Preis der Besten. Two second place finished in the Kur at the CDI Ornago and the German team selection trial in Hagen as well as a fourth place at the CDI Kronberg in the team test got them nominated on the German team for the 2022 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, where they won team gold, individual test silver and kur gold.

In Lohe's last year on ponies in 2023 they began by winning the team test at the CDI Aachen Festival 34 Dressage, followed by second placed in Compiegne, and the victory at the 2023 Preis der Besten as well as in the team test at the CDIO-P Hagen. They were back on the German team for the 2023 European Pony Championships in Le Mans, where they recaptured team gold and placed seventh in the individual test. As the fourth scoring German team rider, they did not make it into the freestyle.

At the German Pony Championships they were ninth in 2021, were fifth in 2022, and got bronze in 2023.

With Lohe reaching the age limit at the end of the year, the Lohe family has decided on a new chapter for the palomino mare.

On 21 October 2023 a celebration ceremony of their partnership was held at the local show in Kerken. The mare will show at the CDI Aachen Young Stars competition as final international competition and will then become a broodmare.

"I can’t say exactly where Golden will go after our time together," Mia told Eurodressage. "She will probably give birth to another pony foal. After that I will concentrate on my horse Luxor v/d Vrendt, who still has a lot to learn, just like me. I am looking forward to the common way with him and hope that I can tie on the successes with Golden times with him."

Tovdal's Golden Future Imperial already produced a foal, Lyngdal's Mira Puella, which was member of the Danish team at the 2023 European Pony Championships in Le Mans.

Lohe will continue dressage sport on horses and has been competing the 7-year old KWPN bred Luxor v/d Vrendt (by El Capone x Wynton) at M-level at local shows since May 2023. She took over the ride from trainer Linda Weiss, who premiered the horse in Germany in May 2022. The black gelding sold as a foal at the 2016 Borculo foal auction for 4,500 euro and was shown in The Netherlands by Nienke Talens in 2020.
