Lisa Müller Adds Imposantos to Gut Wettlkam Stallion Line-Up

German Grand Prix rider Lisa Müller and her husband Thomas Müller have negotiated the rights to exclusively represent the breeding rights to the 8-year old Dutch warmblood licensed stallion Imposantos in Germany.

Imposantos is a 2013 born KWPN stallion by Wynton out of Zarina (by Krack C x Sultan).

He is bred by KWPN Breeder of the Year Willy Wijnen, who named him Imposant W.

Licensed

He was discovered by his Theo Driessen at the 2013 Borculo Foal Auction and the ride was allocated to Bart Veeze.

The pair won the 2016 VSN Trophy, a 3-year old talent scouting competition.

In 2017 the black stallion was licensed as a 4-year old, after completing a shortened 21-day autumn stallion performance test in Ermelo in November 2017.

Young Horse Success

The pair was highly successful in young horse sport in Holland.

They were third in the 2017 Pavo Cup Finals and won the Finals in 2018 and 2019. He won the KWPN Stallion Competition three years in a row (2018-2020).

He represented the KWPN breed at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo in 2018 (7th place) and in 2019 (5th place).

He won the 2020 Dutch Dressage Championships at M/S level.

German Grand Prix rider Lisa Müller has been building a stallion breeding centre, Gut Wettlkam, together with her husband Thomas Müller and they have been shopping across Europe for licensed stallion with Grand Prix dressage potential.

The Müllers invested into the double Young Horse World Champion D'Avie (for a rumoured 4.5 million euro) and bought the 3-year old newly Oldenburg licensed premium stallion Bowmore (by Bordeaux x Fürst Piccolo) at the auction for 95,000 euro.

They have now added Imposantos to their stallion roster, but have not purchased the horse. They announced Imposantos' addition to their roster as a "last minute transfer."

"We are just the only stud in Germany who sells semen of this stallion," Müller clarified.
