For the second, consecutive year the KWPN Stallion Licensing will take place behind closed doors at the KWPN headquarters in Ermelo instead of the Brabanthallen in 's Hertogenbosch.

The corona pandemic and tight restrictions in The Netherlands for public events and mass gatherings make hosting the KWPN licensing in Den Bosch financially not viable.

The Dutch government might relax the rules to a certain extent mid January, but that makes it too close to the deadline to properly organize a public licensing with big extravaganza in Den Bosch.

The KWPN society has, therefore, decided to host the licensing at home in Ermelo on 2 - 5 February 2022. No audience is allowed, but the entire licensing will be streamed live.

"Of course everyone had hoped to finally return to a big horse fest in the Brabanthallen, but unfortunatey this is not possible," said KWPN director Andries van Daalen.
