Cathrine Rasmussen Acquires Full Ownership of Vitalis' Full Brother, My Vitality

Norwegian Grand Prix rider Cathrine Rasmussen has acquired full ownership of Vitalis' full brother My Vitality.

My Vitality is a 5-year old Dutch warmblood stallion by Vivaldi out of Tolivia (by D-Day x Argus). He is bred by Willeke Bos and was co-owned by Rasmussen and Helgstrand Dressage.

The liver chestnut was presented at the first phase for the 2020 KWPN Stallion Licensing, but was rejected.

Three months later he was presented at the 2020 Danish warmblood stallion licensing in Herning and there they named him premium stallion. In the autumn of that year he became the high scorer of the Danish stallion performance test with 902.5 points.

Trained and competed by Spaniard Eric Guardia Martinez, My Vitality won the 2021 Danish Young Horse Championships as a 4-year old.

Rasmussen

The 57-year old Rasmussen represented Norway at the 2010 World Equestrian Games and 2011 European Championships with Orlando, and at the 2013 European Championships on Fernandez. Her last international show was in November 2018 on Dreamtime.

She owns the dressage stable and brood farm Kleppenhus in Denmark as well as an equestrian property in Kristiansand, Norway. Cathrine is a long-time investor in the horse stock, kept under the banner of Helgstrand Dressage, and is, for instance, co-owner of Jovian.

"When you are also a rider, the ultimate dream is to have the opportunity to work with a horse of such quality yourself," said Rasmussen. "So, I’m very grateful that Helgstrand gave me the opportunity to acquire full ownership of My Vitality. I'm really looking forward to bringing him home and getting started on his further training."
