Melli's Glückskeks, the 2022 Bundeschampion in the 5-year old dressage pony class, has been sold to a German pony rider. The 15-year old Leni Wächter will continue his career in sport.
Melli's Gluckskeks is a German riding pony stallion by Golden West out of Melli's Janomi (by Golden Dancer x Aratoss). He is bred by Melanie Schierholz and was owned by Melanie Petermeier.
Licensed Stallion and Bundeschampion
The palomino was licensed at the 2019 Hanoverian Pony Stallion Licensing in Verden.
He did his 2-days stallion suitability test in Munster-Handorf in November 2021. He scored 7.66 points.
He was first competed by the owner's daughter, Vivien Lou Petermeier, and finished 8th at the 2020 Bundeschampionate in the 3-year old stallion class. In 2021 Katharina Tünemann-Rohlfing took over the ride and placed seventh at the 2021 Bundeschampionate in the 4-year old stallion class.
In 2022 German junior team rider Caroline Miesner took over the ride and she won the 2022 Bundeschampionate for 5-year old dressage ponies with him.
Leni Wächter
The Wächter family has bought Melli's Glückskeks for daughter Leni.
Leni first made headlines in 2020 when she finished 7th on Ballack vM (by Beckebauer x Bennos Dream) in the 2020 German Developing Pony Rider Championship.
With La Costo she was 7th at the 2021 German Youth Championships. This year she was 9th with Ballack vM in the 2022 Preis der Besten. Leni rode pony FS New Wave (by FS Numero Uno x FS Champion de Luxe) to a 5th place at the 2022 Bundeschampionate,
Wächter is yet to make her international show debut.
