Quadroneur Sold to Thailand

Israeli Sarah Bamberger has sold her Under 25 Grand Prix horse Quadroneur to Thailand. He will continue as an Asian Games' hopeful for Suphakamol Vuntanadit.

Quadroneur is a 15-year old Brandenburger bred gelding by Quaterback out of Pirouette (by Sandro Hit x Fruhlingsbote x Adept). He is bred at the Brandenburger state stud.

Licensed stallion

Quadroneur was licensed as a 3-year old stallion in Prussendorf in February 2010 and did his 30-day stallion performance test at his home base in Neustadt/Dosse in November 2010. He scored 8.34 for dressage and 7.80 for show jumping, totalling 8.24 points.  

As a breeding stallion, Quadroneur sired 5 licensed sons (Quadronfino, Quadrogold, Quadroneur's Junior, Quality Control, Quickgold) of which four are in studbook I and 9 state premium daughters.  He has 151 offspring registered for sport in Germany. Six of them are competing at S-level.

Germany

He was first competed by Christian Flamm in 2010 through 2011. In 2012 it was Susann Göbel's turn and in 2014 Stephanie Fiedle rode him. They all competed the horses mainly at regional shows up the levels.

In 2015 Fiedler and Quadroneur reached small tour level and in 2016 rode the Werder qualfiier for the Nurnberger Burgpokal. They also rode in one international class, the Prix St Georges at the 2016 CDI Cappeln, where they were fifth with 67.447%

Bulgaria, but Russia

In 2017 the stallion sold to the Bulgarian company Kleo Eood Ltd, led by Russians Eduard and Agata Zakhrabekova. He was gelded to be focused on sport. 

Zakhrabekova discovered Quadroneur in Isabell Werth's barn, where he was in training. The Russian rider trained with Jose Antonio Garcia Mena at the time, who also collaborated with Werth.

Irina made her international show debut on Quadroneur at small tour level at the 2017 CDI Lisbon and competed him in 2018 in Segovia and Cappeln. In 2019 they did one more CDI at small tour level in Seville before moving up to medium tour level at the CDI Cascais. In 2020 they did their first international Grand Prix in Cascais, right before the corona outbreak. It was the pair's last show together.  

Israel, but Holland

Zakhrabekova had shipped Quadroneur to Helgstrand Dressage in Germany to be sold. In March 2021 he found a new owner in Israeli Sarah Bamberger.  The sale was brokered throug Imke Schellekens-Bartels, who trained Bamberger at Bartels Academy in The Netherlands.

Bamberger made her international show debut at small tour level at the CDI Grote Brogel in Belgium in July 2021, placing third in the Inter I freestyle. By October 2021 they moved up to Under 25 Grand Prix level and competed in Le Mans, followed by CDI's in Lier, Opglabbeek, Kronenberg and Grote Brogel in 2022.  Bamberger competed her second Grand Prix horse, Badari, at the 2022 European Under 25 Championships

Thailand, but Belgium

Six weeks ago Bamberger put Quadroneur on the market and the horse found a new owner in the Vuntanadit family, who also trained at Bartels Academy but recently made the move to De Begijnhoeve in Belgium to train with Tommie Visser. 

Quadroneur is meant as the 2023 Asian Games' hopeful for 25-year old Suphakamol "Pammy" Vuntanadit.

She made her international show debut in 2017 at Young Riders' level aboard Hermes (by Hochadel x Lauries Crusador xx). In 2021 she moved up to Under 25 level with Dreamboat BCN (by Voice) and in 20202 has been competing at senior Grand Prix level as the first Thai dressage rider to ever do so. She competed at CDI's in Le Mans, Lier, Zakrzow, Troisdorf, Redefin, Hagen, and Exloo.
