Wert's Snowflake, Dutch Children Team Pony, Sold to American Para Rider

Isabella Karajkovic's Dutch children team pony Wert's Snowflake has been sold to an American aspiring para dressage rider. The cremello mare has moved to California.

Wert's Snowflake is an 8-year old German Riding Pony mare by Casine Royale K out of Hilkens Sunny Delight (by FS Golden Moonlight). She is bred by Marie de Wert-Peeterman.

German Start

Wert's Snowflake did her mare performance test in Germany as a 4-year old in 2019, scoring 7.75 points and placing 10th out of 43 participants.

The mare was first shown in Germany that same year by Petra Hinrichs before selling to The Netherlands

The pony made its international show debut under new owner and rider Isabella Karajkovic in the Children division at the CDI Le Mans in October 2021, where they win all three rounds. A month later they competed at the CDI Aachen indoor.

Karajkovic had one more international year on Snowflake in 2022. They showed in Le Mans, Opglabbeek, Kronenberg and Exloo before getting selected on the Dutch team for the 2022 European Children Championships in Pilisjaszfalu (HUN), where they won team silver and finished 28th in the team test with 70.625%.They also won silver at the 2022 Dutch Children Championships.

The pair did not compete internationally in 2023. Karajkovic focused on her second pony, First Hummer, instead.

Sold to the U.S.A.

The 8-year old mare has now been sold to aspiring U.S. para rider Dana Johnson who is based at Purmort Farms in San Juan Capistrano, California.

"Snowy’s highly accomplished resume, paired with an exceptional temperament has made her the ideal equine partner as we support Dana in her Para Dressage aspirations," Purmort farms stated.
