Fifteen Stallions Begin 2023 Danish Warmblood Autumn Stallion Performance Test

Fifteen young licensed stallions have started their 35-day stallion performance test for the Danish Warmblood society at the Tørring equestrian centre in Denmark.

The collection is strictly dressage bred stallions include Two 5-year-olds that have been licensed already but still need to do the testing, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old that have not previously been licensed by Danish Warmblood, as well as 11 three-year-old stallions with approved for testing at the 2023 DWB Stallion licensing in Herning last March or at the late licensing in Vilhelmsborg in April.

Some of the stallions have done a 1-day test in Herning to be able to start their breeding approval for 2023, while others have not done a test before or have been breeding in Germany.

Nine of the 15 participating stallions are (co-)owned by Helgstrand Dressage. One entered stallion, Baunehøjens Jackson D (by Jovian x Sezuan), owned by Helgstrand dressage and Søren Grønborg, was officially entered but not presented at the start of the testing.

At the 35-day testing the stallions will be assessed on their gaits, rideability and character by Torben Frandsen and Mette Risager, while Allan Grøn will serve as guest judge rider.
