In Style Moves on with Dutch Young Rider Eline Anker

The internationally competed small tour stallion In Style has been allocated to Dutch Young Rider Eline Anker.

In Style is an 11-year old KWPN stallion by Eye Catcher out of Sissy (by Lorentin). He is bred by Joop van Uytert.

Double WCYH Finalist

The bay In Style was licensed at the 2016 KWPN Stallion Licensing in Den Bosch.. With 84,5 points he was the second highest scoring stallion in the 2019 KWPN Spring stallion performance test.

Under Renate van Uytert-van Vliet he was second in the 2018 KWPN Stallion Competition and finished 15th in the 5-year old finals at the 2018 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo.

The pair went on to win the 2019 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals in February but then Hans Peter Minderhoud took over the reins and he was 8th in the warm-up round and 12th in the 6-year old finals at the 2019 World Young Horse championships in Ermelo.

With Renate back in the saddle a few weeks later he finished fourth at the 2019 Pavo Cup Finals. They placed second in the 2020 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals.

In 2022 the pair was fifth at the 2022 Dutch Small Tour Championships and made its international small tour level show debut at the CDI Mechelen in December that year. They did one CDI in Geesteren in 2023 placing fifth twice.

Eline Anker

In Style has now been allocated to Dutch young rider Eline Anker, who is daughter of Dutch entrepreneur Jan Anker, a horse investor who has several horses in partnership with Van Uytert (including World Championship bronze medal winner Hermes).

The 20-year old Anker is in her last year as a young rider. She has competed at two CDI's in her career so far. She made her CDI debut on ponies in Exloo on 2018 with Schermeer's Hof Jasmine (by Orchard Boginov x Flora's Hof Minstrel). She returned five years later as a young rider at the 2023 CDI Leeuwarden with Hey You (by Romanov x Democraat), who was previously competed by Imke Schellekens-Bartels and co-owned by the rider with Van Uytert and Gerrit van Esterik.

"Our sweet and handsome friend In Style will make a very nice combination with Eline Anker this season in her last year as Young rider," Renate posted. Eline and In Style made their show debut on 24 - 25 February 2024 winning at fourth level with 79.10% and 81.70%. "Very proud because the two only are a recent combination. Looking forward to this collaboration."
