The 9-year old young Grand Prix horse Hexagon's Leon will be sailing to the States to join the string of top class horses at Akiko Yamazaki's Four Winds Farm in California.
Hexagon's Leon is a 2016 born KWPN gelding by Ferdinand out of Beauty Vienna D (by Rubiquil x Jazz). He is bred by Karin Visser and is originally named Leon Art-Do.

A full brother to licensed Grand Prix stallion Gorgeous Black Art, Leon Art Do was bought by the late Leunus van Lieren as a foal. He changed the horse's name to Hexagon's Leon.
He has been trained to big tour level at Stable Hexagon in Schore, The Netherlands. As a young horse he was shown by Tessa Kole in the 2021 Pavo Cup semi-finals and by Spaniard Sergio Bermejo Garcia, who rode him to victory in the regional Duval Dressage Cup" for 6-year olds.

German horse dealer Jochen Arl matched Leon to his long-time client, Akiko Yamazaki, who has secured the gelding for herself to ride.
"It was wonderful to see. It was love at first sight between Akiko and Leon when she tried him out in Holland," said Arl. "This is a wonderful start of the New Year for Four Winds Farm."
