The 4-year old chestnut Dynamic Dancer was named the champion in the "older" stallion category at the 2025 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning on 5 March 2025.

This year marks the 45th year of the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in Herning, which has evolved into a well-oiled event, supported by 350 indispensable volunteers.

The event includes the licensing of 3- and 4-year-old stallions. This year’s collection from Danish breeders is, as always, supplemented by, mainly German bred young stallions.

In the Danish Warmblood selection system, stallions are categorized by age. While the 3-year-olds are undergoing their selection process with the champion's ring on Sunday, some of the 4- and 5-year-old dressage stallions received their licensing on Tuesday 5 March 2025 and will participate in show classes during the event.

Dynamic Dancer, Champion of the "Older" Stallions

The licensing committee for dressage, consisting of Vicky Nortvig, Bjarne Nielsen, Rune Willum and Johnny Sørensen, judged a group of 4-year-old stallions and 5-year and older stallions under saddle.

The 2024 Danish autumn performance test winner received the title of champion stallion in the older category was the extremely well-behaved Dynamic Dancer (by Dynamic Dream x Dresemann), bred in Germany by Simon Kohlenbrenner and owned by Helgstrand Dressage. He was first licensed as a premium stallion at the 2023 Westfalian Licensing and approved for Danish breeding in 2024.

Among the newly graded 4-year-old stallions the recipient of the Aage Ravn's Challenge Trophy (for the best performing Danish bred stallion) was Svalegård's Be-Live (by Bon Coeur x Tailormade Temptation). He won his performance test in February this year.

This is not the first time the stallion's owners and breeders Else Marie and Jens Chr. Krabbe have won the significant trophy, they also did so in 2023, when Svalegårds Hot Driver was honored with the same prize. Svalegård’s Be-Live was awarded a breeder's medal in bronze.
