
Elisabeth Max-Theurer, the 1980 Olympic dressage champion, president of the Austrian equestrian federation and 5* judge, has been re-elected as the vice president of the Austrian Olympic Committee (OOC).
Her re-election happened during the annual General Assembly on Monday 24 March 2025.
Horst Nussbaumer was elected as the new President of the Austrian Olympic Committee. He was the only candidate elected with 42 of the 48 votes cast. Nussbaumer competed in three Olympic Games as a rower. He is the first OOC president in 111 (!) years to have competed at the Olympics. Florian Gosch is the Secretary General.
Max-Theurer will be his V.P. She has been a member of the ÖOC Board since 2005.
"I look forward to continuing to shape the future of Olympic sports in Austria together with him and the new team," said Max-Theurer.
