2025 German Developing Pony Rider Championship

Franka Müller became the winner of the 2025 German Developing Pony Rider Championships held at the indoor competition in Darmstadt, Germany, in October 2025. The final on Sunday was judged by Tina Viebahn and Dirk Feuser.

With an impressive score of 8.8, the young rider prevailed in the final, a pony dressage test at the L level. Franka Müller rode the six-year-old Doktor Snuggles F (by FS Don't Worry x Tilo).

Second place, with a score of 8.6 went to Maili-Jane Böhnke and the 2021 Bundeschampion PAV Nachtschwärmer (by Nemax x FS Don't Worry). Annabell Stolte completed the podium with Divabella (by Danny Gold x Big Boy I) and a score of 8.3 .

The German Developing Pony Rider Championships, embedded within the Liselott Rheinberger Young Talent Award , is open to riders up to 14 years of age, who compete against each other in two L-level dressage tests. The focus is always on correct seat, refined riding, and a harmonious presentation of their pony. Participation is not through open nomination. Instead, the regional associations nominate their most promising young talents. These athletes then present themselves at a three-day selection course at the national training center in Warendorf , where the top 25 couples are chosen for the final.
