The exciting week of competition at the halfway point of the 2026 Global Dressage Festival in Wellington came to a conclusion on Sunday 15 February 2026 with a playful and joyous leadline class.
After Isabell Werth took the limelight in the World Cup qualifier and sponsor Zen Elite treated the audience with an extra musical celebration on the Friday Night Stars freestyle evening with Tayler Dayne singing the national anthem and Lady A(ntebellum) providing a mini concert after the show, the fun did not end there.
In wonderful sunny weather on Sunday afternoon the international stadium welcomed nine children into the arena led in by proud parents, family members and fans. Four of them were children of Olympian team riders: American Olympians Adrienne Lyle and Kasey Perry-Glass had their children Bailey DaSilva (dad is U.S. veterinarian David DaSilva) and True Glass (dad is horse trainer Dana Glass) ride in the class, while Canadian Olympians Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and Lindsay Kellock saw their kids Chloé Beaulieu (dad is Marc-Andre Beaulieu) and Madison Duckworth (dad is Drew Duckworth) participate.

The kis all earned the perfect score of 100% from judge Debbie Rodriguez and Heidi Humphries of Zen Elite offered prizes in kind including a rainbow ribbon, a cute horsey backpack filled with goodies including a stuffed horse.
