The 5-year old Oldenburg stallion Destello OLD became the high scoring stallion of the 50-day Stallion Performance Test held in Adelheidsdorf, Germany.
Twenty stallions, aged 3 to 5, participated in the 50-day testing which started on 7 October and ended on 25 November 2020.
Destello OLD (by Dimaggio x Furst Fugger x Royal Dance) scored a whopping total of 9.38 points. Bred by Stefanie Löhmann and owned by Sophie Fabri, the liver chestnut earned 9.5 for character, 9.0 for walk, 10 for trot, 9 for canter, 9.5 for rideability, 9 for jumping and 9.5 from the test rider.
The second highest scoring stallion was the 3-year old Westfalian Bestform (by Benicio x Hochadel x Fidermark), who is bred by Carsten Rohleder and owned by Mathieu Beckmann. He scored a total of 9.01 points to be the high scoring horse in the lot. He earned 9.5 for character, 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 9.5 for canter, 9 for rideability, 7 for jumping and 9.75 from the test rider.
The third best scoring stallion was Ruscher-Konermann's Westfalian stallion Baccardi's Best (by Baccardi x Rocky Lee x Pavarotti van de Helle) with a total of 8.58 points. He got 9 for character, 9 for walk, 8 for trot and 8.5 for canter, 8.5 for rideability, 9 for jumping, and 8.5 from the test rider.
