Famous K, the 2021 Bundeschampionate bronze medal winner in the 6-year old division, has been sold to 13-year old German pony rider Lilly Collin.

Famous K is a 6-year old Hanoverian stallion by Finest out of Leena (by Londonderry x De Niro x Rondo). He is bred by Martina Knetsch.

Müller and Famous K

Purchased by Heike Kramer at the Verden Elite Foal Auction in 2015, the bay stallion made his show debut in 2019 as a 4-year old under Anett Müller.

The pair first competed at the local show in Oyten-Bassen in the riding horse tests. In 2020 they did a couple of shows in Verden, Scharnebeck and Okel to put mileage on the stallion at L-dressage level.

As of 2021, Müller and Famous K stepped it up and rode the Bundeschampionate qualifiers and gained mileage at M-level at regional shows in Bremervorde, Schwanewede, Syke and Elmlohe, before the horse was paired to Leonie Richter in the summer of 2021, indicating an involvement of Helgstrand Dressage.

Richter and Famous K

Richter and Famous K rode the Hanoverian Young Horse Championships in Verden, where they scored bronze. A month later at the 2021 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf they were back to bronze in the Finals for 6-year olds, after placing second in the preliminary round. Famous K tied in third place with 8.2 points after receiving 9 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.

On the record the horse was still listed as owned by Kramer.

Collin and Famous K

Less than a week after the Bundeschampionate, Famous K sold to the Collin family for their daugher Lilly Collin, who also competed at the 2021 Bundeschampionate on Cosmo Callidus (by Cosmopolitan D x Cyriac). The pair won silver in the 6-year old dressage pony finals.

Lilly Collin is the cousin of Luca Sophia Collin, who is a two-time German Young Rider team member, who won team silver and individual bronze on Descolari at the 2020 and 2021 European Young Riders Championships

A month ago cousin Luca Collin already purchased Grand Prix horse Bonamour at Helgstrand dressage. Before that, they acquired Budhi at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen.
