Follow Up became the high scorer of the the shortened suitability test which was held in Vechta on 13 - 15 December 2022. This was the second shortened test that took place in Vechta this year.
In 2022 the German Equestrian Federation and its breed societies are holding a pilot project of a "shortened suitability tests" over two days as a possible replacement for the 14-day stallion suitability test.
Eleven colts aged three and four were entered , two did not show up (Fabulé and Idealerweise) and one did not complete the test (My Friend, by Maracana)
The 3-year old Westfalian registered Follow Up (by Follo Him's Schönweide x Diamond Hit x Londonderry) was the high scorer with a total of 9,02 points. He got 8.7 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9.2 for canter, 9.3 for rideability and 9.5 for willingness to work. He is owned by Adrian and Alexandra Gasser. He was approved at the late licensing by the Westfalian studbook and approved for Oldenburg at a home licensing.
The 4-year old Oldenburg bred Sebastino (by Secret x Vivaldi) totalled 8.82 points. He received 7.9 for walk, 9.0 for trot, 9.5 for canter, 8.8 for rideability and 9.0 for willingness to work.
The 4-year old Oldenburg bred Fabletic (by Frascino x Lauries Crusador xx) finished third with 8.74 points after receiving 9.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8.7 for canter, 8.6 for rideability and 8.2 for willingness to work.
