Golden Spring GH, a Danish team bronze medal winner at the 2022 European Pony Championships, has been sold to Belgium.
He is a 9-year old Westfalian bred German Riding Pony gelding by Golden State out of Gwendoline (by Gentleman x Nantano). He is bred by Bergita Inglis.
German Start
The chestnut was first competed in Germany as a 3-year old by Rebekka Rösler in 2017. The next year Maria Siegle took over the ride and presented the pony in the A-level dressage classes through August 2019.
Golden Spring GH then sold to the Sand family in Denmark.
Danish Team Pony
Andrea Hamann Sand premiered the gelding in Denmark in November 2019 and first competed him nationally to gain experience. They finished 11th at the 2021 Danish Pony Championships.
This year the pair showed in Exloo, Le Mans and Aalborg, but did not get selected on the team for the 2023 Europeans. They finished sixth at the 2023 Danish Pony Championships.

Emilia in Sint-Truiden, Belgium
The pony has been sold to the Van Ierschot family for daughter Emilia to ride. She trains with Noa Moermans at Stal 't Gravenhof, which annually hosts the CDI Sint-Truiden.
"In 2022 Golden Spring competed at our CDI and Emilia was then already dreaming of riding at international level on day," Moermans told Eurodressage. "In the prize giving ceremony, she was standing close to him (when Golden Spring finished second in the freestyle in 2022). Also Andrea told is that our CDI was one of her nicest memories. It's a small world."
