Historic Triple for Chalvignac-Vesin at 2024 French Championships for 7-Year Olds

2024 French Dressage Championships

French professional dressage Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin achieved a historic feat by capturing all three podium places in the 2024 French Championships for 7-year olds.

These Championships are annually held at Pole Europeen du Cheval in Le Mans, France.

This year a remarkably small field of entries made the 7-YO Championships less competitive than usual. In 2023 there were 17 pairs competing, in 2022 there were 19. This year only seven.

Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin captured gold, silver and bronze. Her golden ride was the Hanoverian gelding Fabajo (by Furst Belissaro x Wolkentanz), who was owned by the German company Galleria Sportpferde for which Korean Dong Seon Kim used to ride. The pair won both rounds with 79,641% in the preliminary test and 77,993% in the finals test.

Chalvignac placed second with the Hanoverian stallion Dempsey FBC (by Don Juan de Hus x Contendro). The bay was consistent in both rounds and posted 75,723% and 75,065%.

On her own Hanoverian Fursty Majishan (by Furstenball x St. Moritz) she scored the bronze with 74,059% and 74,136%.
