Royal and Proud, New Junior Ride for Caroline Pawluk

Polish junior rider team member Caroline Pawluk has welcomed a new horse in her barn, Royal and Proud.

Royal and Proud is a 7-year old Oldenburg mare by Radisson out of Schila (by De Niro x Akzent II x Matador). She is bred by Böckmann in Lastrup and was originally named Schira.

Schürmann and Waldmann

The mare was first started by Charlotte Maria Schürmann, who had her show debut on the 5-year old at the CDN Ankum in October 2020.

In 2021 she was allocated to Lena Waldmann, who competed her first at a local show in Wörmlitz in June 2021. From there they went to Nuthethal, Wörmlitz, Uetz, Tremsdorf, and in January 2022 she rode the mare in her first Prix St Georges level test in Elmshorn.

The pair made its international debut at small tour level in March 2022 where they were second and fourth.

Simone Pearce

When Waldmann left Gestut Bonhomme in Werder, the mare stayed behind and Simone Pearce took over the ride.

She presented her for the first time in the competition ring in Prietzen in June 2022 and two weeks later rode her to a 7th and 8th place in the small tour at the CDIO Aachen.

Caroline Pawluk

The horse sold to the Dusseldorf based Pawluk family in the autumn on 2022.

Trained by Ton de Ridder, Polish junior rider Caroline Pawluk made her show debut on Royal and Proud today at the indoor show at Gut Ising. This budding new partnership tested their ground in an M-level test and posted 63.384%.

The 16-year old Pawluk represented Poland at the 2021 European Junior riders Championships on Fatum (by Furst Hohenstein x Furst Heinrich), but missed out on the 2022 Euros due to a minor injury. She also owns and competes Don Tango B and Follow Me OLD.
