Jill Bogers' WCYH bronze medal winner Lennox U.S. has been sold to Germany. The 6-year old stallion will continue his sport career under German pony rider Maria Teresa Pohl.
Lennox U.S. is a 6-year old KWPN stallion by Grand Galaxy Win x Rousseau. He is bred by Bas Wilschut and was originally named Lennox W.
In 2019 Lennox W was presented at the KWPN Stallion Licensing and was named reserve champion. At the licensing the breeder sold 2/3 of the ownership to stallion keepers Paul Schockemöhle and Joop van Uytert and the horse's name changed to Lennox U.S.
He was first presented under saddle to the public by former European pony champion Sanne Vos but then former Dutch team pony rider Jill Bogers took over the ride.

In 2021 the pair was third in the KWPN Stallion Competition Finals and placed seventh in the 2021 Pavo Cup Finals.
In 2022 the 6-year old has has a very busy season for his age going full throttle. He was third at the 2022 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals, won silver at the 2022 Dutch Junior Championships in May, had his international show debut at the CDI Exloo in June, followed by team silver and a 5th place at the 2022 European Junior Riders Championships in Hartpury (GBR) in July.
The culmination of their short partnership was at the beginning of September when they captured a well earned bronze medal in the 6-year old finals at the 2022 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo.
Sold to Germany
Lennox U.S. has now been sold to German pony rider Maria Teresa Pohl as her junior hopeful.
In 2020 Pohl and pony Mister Dornik (by Dornik B x Aratoss) finished fifth in the 2020 German Developing Pony Rider Championship. Pohl made her international show debut in the children division at the 2021 CDIO-CH Hagen on Harlem D (by Vivaldi x Donnerhall) and placed 8th with him in the 2021 Preis der Besten.
In 2022 Pohl took over the ride on Anna and Lara Middelberg's former German team pony Drink Pink as well as on Paulina von Wulffen's international medal winning pony Der Kleine Sunnyboy. Drink Pink was ridden on the national show scene while Der Kleine Sunny Boy went in in one class at the CDI Mariakalnok and she rode him in three tests at the CDI Neu-Anspach, each time placing in the top three. They were 11th at the 2022 German Youth Riders Championships.
The 15-year Pohl trains with Semmieke Rothenberger in Bad Homberg but her family owns a yard in Marburg-Dagobertshausen.
