BE Allex, who Jeanna Hogberg rode to three World Young Horse Championship Finals, has been sold to Germany.
German horse dealer Jochen Arl matched the horse to his client of 15 years, German Grand Prix rider Natalie Stickling Morzynski.
Triple WCYH Finalist
Be Allex is an 8-year old Swedish warmblood gelding by Ampere out of Alice (by Dalwhinnie x Akribori). He is bred by Bo and Eva Pettersson. Owned by Jeanna Hogberg, Tina Hennix, and Tobias Hansson of Vastra Hoby, the bay was trained to schooling Grand Prix level by Hogberg.
The pair has had a very successful career competing in the young horse classes. They began by winning bronze at the 2020 Swedish Young Horse Championships in the 3-year old division. In 2021 Allex won silver as a 4-year old, but skipped the 2022 nationals. He was back to silver in 2023 as a 6-year old.
On the international stage, BE Allex made an impression at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo. In 2022 he was 8th in the 5-year old finals. In 2023 he won the 6-year old preliminary test as first Swedish warmblood to ever win a preliminary (or finals) test. In the Finals they landed 7th place but BE Allex showed the promise of greatness for Grand Prix. In 2024 they were 11th in the 7-year old Finals.
Stickling Morzynski
In search of a rising Grand Prix star, Natalie Stickling Morzynski turned once again to Jochen Arl to find her horse and BE Allex was found.
The 48-year old Stickling began her show career in the 1990s on Radauti xx. In the 2000s she competed Orly's Way and Pandoer at international Grand Prix level and La Scala and Buddy Holly at national FEI level, before taking a 12-year break from showing to turning her attention fully on to raising her children.
Aboard Esteban M she made her comeback to the national competition ring in 2021 and acquired Polish Grand Prix team horses FairPlay and Dean Martin shortly afterwards. Natalie and her young rider daughter Phelina Morzynski are now fully savouring the competition journey together with talented horses to ride.
