Fourteen Dressage Colts Begin 2021 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing

Fourteen dressage bred colts have been accepted to participate in the 2021 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing, which started at the KWPN headquarters in Ermelo on 12 April 2021.

Four Out, Two Extra In

Fifteen stallions were originally entered for the spring test, but the 3-year olds Nintendo DS (by Just Wimphof) and Nikkei Royal (by Trafalger) were no shows.

Also the 5-year old Louis ter Kwincke (by Easy Game x Damon Hill) was not presented. Louis ter Kwincke was a premium stallion in 2019. He dropped out of the 2019 spring testing and in 2020 he was supposed to appear in the autumn testing, but was not presented.

The 3-year old Navarone D (by Finest Selection) was deemed not ready for the test by the committee and he will get a new chance in the autumn.

Two stallions are participating in the testing at free will of the owners, No Way (by Governor x Flemmingh) and the recently NRPS approved Nacho (by Negro x Krack C). No Way was a no show at the 2021 KWPN licensing in February and Nacho was rejected in the second phase.

Two colts were also re-inspected as part of the "second chance" option, but both we rejected again. They were Mac Toto USB (by Toto Jr x Jazz) and Mr. Magnum BTH (by Expression x Valdez)
