German Start, Move to Denmark

Owned by Maximiliane Bauermeister, the pony was first competed in Germany as a 5-year old in 2014. Presented by Pia Koppelmann, Charico showed only briefly before selling to Denmark.

Purchased by Marianne Nielsen, the gelding became the FEI hopeful for Danish pony rider Sophia Winther Andersen. She made her show debut on the gelding in August 2015 at a national show in Charlottenlund. By 2017 they had reached FEI pony level and finished 10th at the 2017 Danish Pony Championships.

Winther Andersen continued to ride Charico at national level in Denmark through 2018, their last show being the Ecco Cup Finals in December 2018.

The pony sold to Michael Frede Sinding for his daughter, Cornelia Munch Sinding, to ride. The new pair made its national show debut in February 2020 and were 12th at the 2020 Danish Pony Championships

They won silver at the 2021 Danish Pony Championships.

In 2022 the pair competed at the CDI Sint-Truiden and Hagen before heading to the 2022 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, where they got team bronze and were sixth individually. The pair finished its career together with the gold medal and national title at the 2022 Danish Pony Championships.
